You might recognize these in front of the portal to enter the Bulwark’s Ambry. ![]() Despite “Design” being considered a compound, it isn’t something physical that must be gathered. Mithrix comes to understand the fundamentals of reality and finds the three compounds required to design as gods. These were the good times, but as they grew older and began to understand the world, their ideals would soon clash. They had a childhood where they explored their curiosities, got into mischief, and chased glass frogs. Mithrix and Providence, two cyclopean humanoids, were born on Petrichor V through unknown means. Risk of Rain is a tale of two brothers, one ambitious, one compassionate, and ultimately, their fallout. I often summarize the entries, because I don't want to expand this document more than it already is by pasting every relevant log word for word. If you are to read this, I recommend that you have read the majority of log entries for the game already. I think I've found the answers to why the Contact Light had a teleporter, how the teleporters even get on other planets, and potential proof that N'kuhana is the "she" Mithrix speaks of, and that she did indeed sacrifice herself for Providence. ![]() Just from organizing this information I've come across a lot of plot points that suddenly make sense. With all the logs complete, and no new possible lore until the first expansion comes out, I'd like to give a detailed run down of the lore thus far. There have been many new log entries to sort through, and even the end of the game has received a change. ![]()
